Privacy Policy

In Quick mode, the selected recording is decoded and processed in your browser. The Quick transcription path does not upload that recording to our transcription server. Your browser still requests the website and resources needed to run the tool.

Deep is a separate upload route. After you confirm permission and upload consent and complete verification, the selected recording is sent through our Cloudflare Worker to our Modal transcription service. Processing uses temporary files that the application removes when its temporary processing directory closes. We do not offer an online library of your uploaded recordings. An interrupted request may continue processing on the provider until it completes or reaches its execution limit.

The site stores an anonymous browser identifier and local instrument preferences in browser storage. Instrument preferences can be associated with a hash of a selected file. These preferences do not contain the recording itself. Clearing this site’s browser storage removes locally saved preferences and its anonymous identifier; this does not reset network-wide limits.

Cloudflare receives network request information when serving the site. Deep requests use Cloudflare Turnstile for verification. Our service derives keyed identifiers from network and anonymous browser information to apply quotas, detect repeated submissions, and control costs. Quota, reservation, cost and operational records are stored using Upstash Redis and Cloudflare storage. These records are separate from the recording’s audio content. Infrastructure providers process request information under their own policies.

We plan to introduce third-party advertising. Advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure advertisements. Before enabling an advertising integration, we will update this notice to describe its data handling and any choices available to visitors. This notice does not imply that an advertising integration is currently enabled.

Only process recordings you are authorized to use. Avoid uploading recordings containing private conversations or other sensitive material. Save exports you want to retain; the service is not a backup for original recordings or results.
